Riders not to have attained their 18th Birthday
before 1st January in the current year

attained their 18th birthday before the 1st January
in the current year (with the exception of riders of stallions, please
refer to Page 5, Rule 7 of the 2008 Rule Book)
P(UK) Plaited Senior
Dressage – Novice Test 30
Open to
Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over.
Riders to have attained their 18th birthday as at the 1st
January in the current year.
Qualifying Rounds are open to Members and Non-Members. Non Members qualifying will have 14 days to become a
Junior/Senior Riders Club Member in order for the qualification to remain
valid.

RULES
WINTER DRESSAGE FINALS 2009
a)
The 1st,
2nd and 3rd in each class to go forward to the P
(UK) Winter Dressage Finals
b)
Horse and Rider combination to qualify
c)
No horse substitutions permitted whatsoever
d)
Once
qualified if the rider is not a current “A”/Junior/ Senior Riders Club
Member they then they have 14 days to submit their memberships in order
for the qualification to remain valid.
e)
Classes will be judged according to British Dressage
Rules, unless otherwise stated
f)
Ordinary
Snaffle Bridles only in all Preliminary and Novice tests
g)
Martingales and bearing, side or running reins of any
kind are forbidden whilst ridden.
h)
Mountain & Moorland entries must be shown unplaited
i)
Bandages, boots and any sort of blinkers may not be
used when competing.
j)
Breastplates and breast girths are permitted
k)
Blunt Spurs are permitted
l)
Whips are permitted in qualifying rounds but not at the
finals
m)
Callers are permitted in qualifying rounds but not at
the finals
n)
Flash or Drop Nosebands may be used in conjunction with
the snaffle only
o)
Dressage Arena size 20m x 40 m
p)
Competitors taking part in two dressage classes on the
same day judged by the same judge, shall not have access to their
judging/score sheets before competing in the second contest
q)
In all cases the Judges’ decision is final
